Last weekend we made another trip (we are squeezing in as much as we can before football season starts). This time we went to Dallas to visit Allison & Brian. We were a little worried about how Ainslee would handle the 5 hour car trip, since she usually doesn't do well being over 2 hours in the car. I had heard from several friends that traveling after bedtime worked well, since the baby would normally be asleep during that time anyway. Well, Jason & I are both HORRIBLE night time drivers, and by night, I mean anything after about 9 pm. So, we decided to pack up and leave around 4 am, since Ainslee normally sleeps until 8 am we thought she would go back to sleep and sleep almost the whole trip. Well, it worked! We had zero traffic and sleeping baby, a wonderful combination. We got to Dallas completely exhausted ourselves, but rested until Allison & Brian got home from work. We went for a swim in their pool and then went to a wonderful Italian restaurant near their house for dinner. Saturday we went to downtown Plano and antique shopped. Allison and I continued a favorite summer tradition of snow cones and more swimming. That night we grilled with a few friends and Ainslee got to play with another little baby a couple of months older than her. She had a blast trying to keep up with him. Sunday morning we awoke to a fussy baby and realized she had gotten one of her top teeth. We went to lunch at a cute little bakery and then headed to Austin to visit Lauren & Trevor. We spent the night with them and hung out at their apartment the next day. It was a whirlwind trip, but we had a great time seeing great friends.
Enjoying the pool with Aunt Allison!

She loves her Auntie Lo (that's what the bib says)
Being silly w/ Uncle Trevor, he's wearing her bow
