The post that should be dated Jan 5th

I am soooo far behind in my posts it is not even funny.  Our "borrowed" internet that chooses to not work at the most opportune times, two children who refuse to sleep at the same time, and a novel called The Help (which should be a post all in itself) have all contributed to this lack of blogging.  But, primarily it is the fact that I can't get a system down for uploading photos to blogger that doesn't take 30 min per picture, and I'm not exaggerating!  Our fancy shmancy camera takes extremely large size photos and my method for resizing no longer works - HELP please if you know how to fix this!

Anyway, as I was saying...Hattie cakes has had some major milestones lately and I feel horrible for not properly documenting them!

On Jan. 5th she got her first taste of rice cereal!  She was not a fan.  She willingly took a few bites, but gagged and made horrible faces while trying to figure out how to swallow it.  I have since tried again and given her squash, but she is still pretty content with being on a pure milk diet.
Not sure what's coming, but as always, happy about it!
What is this?
Still not sure about this
 And I'm done!

Cara, I was having the same exact problem and it was killing my blogging...that and the two (now three kids) and everything else in life. :)
You can download picasa for free and upload your photos there straight from your camera. Then, you can select up to four photos at a time and click the "blog this" button at the bottom of the screen and it sends it straight to your blog page on a new post in seconds! No more waiting forever for the photos to load...I don't know what picasa does to make it so fast but it works for me. Then, if you want more than 4 photos on your post just save the post without publishing and you can copy and paste from other posts...
I hope this works for you! The girls are adorable! I hope we get to see you guys in College Station for the counselor reunion in a while! Jennifer

I recall some very similar faces from big sister tasting her first rice cereal!
