The Country Life

Ainslee and I headed to Kerrville on Tuesday morning to spend the day at G-Ma and Grandpa's house. GG was in town for a few days so we wanted to get to spend some quality time with her since we don't get to very often! As always, we had a great time playing outside and exploring the garden.
We hung out on the front porch for a long time

Then Grandpa let Ainslee go into the garden to pick carrots. The carrot that is sticking out of the ground was replanted by Ainslee :)

She loved finding them! She also loved eating them. Grandpa asked if she wanted to go feed them to the horses and she replied, "No, I eat these carrots!" And she did, about 4 or 5 of them!

Of course, the shoes had to come off...

The blackberry vines are just beginning to ripen so we found a few that were ready

She saved them to show GG how many she found

The lavender is also in bloom and Ainslee quickly discovered it smelled wonderful! She kept waving her hands all through the plant.

We tried taking a few portraits, but someone was in a silly mood...

Thought this was cute though

After all that running around she took a GREAT nap and then played with her new sticker book from GG.

Thanks for all the fun G-Ma, Grandpa, and GG!
